Hopkins, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Nancy Hopkins Chalker, 5111 Liberty Heights, Baltimore, Md., Sunday at 1 a.m. Besides Mrs. Chalker, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Mary Hopkins McDevitt of Norfolk; two sons, Jackson R. Hopkins of Norfolk and Franklin A. Hopkins of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. J.R. Rollings of Elberon; three brothers, Willie C. Rawls of Ivor, Robert H. Rawls and Hugh M. Rawls, both of Richmond; six grandchildren, Jack A. Chalker of Baltimore, Mrs. Marjorie West of Norfolk, James McDevitt, USMC, Thomas C. Hopkins of Norfolk, Christy Lee Hopkins and Miss Suzy Ann Hopkins, both of Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren. She was a native of Ivor and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church, the Ladies' Auxiliary and before coming to Norfolk was a school teacher in Southampton County. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Additional Comments: Elmwood Obit states death was previous Sunday.
