Mr. Horchner, a native of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, was employed by Tennitek Co. He was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church and a graduate of Yale University. During World War II, he served as a Navy Lieutenant. Survivors include a daughter, Robin L. Horchner; and a son, Richard P. Horchner, both of Chicago; two sisters, Charlotte H. Paulsen of Virginia Beach and Louise H. Failing of Utica, N.Y.; and a brother, John P. Horchner of Bernardsville, N.J. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will be at 1988 Irish Bank Drive, Virginia Beach. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, is handling arrangements.
