Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Pearlie C. Horton, of 859 Virginia Beach 
boulevard, were held Sunday in Garrett’s Community Church by the Rev. J. A. 
Askew.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Metropolitan Funeral Home in 
charge.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Horton died June 25 in a local hospital after a long 
illness.  She was a daughter of the late Eli Fuller and Mrs. Pauline Fuller 
and the wife of Johnnie Horton.  She was a choir member at Garrett’s Community 
Church and was lead singer for the Pearl Gospel Singers of Norfolk.

Also surviving are two daughters, Miss Barbara Kemp and Mrs. Brendolyn Diggs 
of Norfolk;  one son, Robert Fuller of Norfolk;  two sisters, Mrs. Eva Evans 
of Norfolk and Mrs. Annie Perry of New Jersey;  and five grandchildren.
