Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 2, 1927

R. Selden Hosier, aged 41, son of Wesley W. and Nola Hunt Hosier, died 
yesterday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock at the residence, No. B-7 Weyanoke 
Apartments, 809 Princess Anne road.  He was a native and lifelong resident of 
Norfolk.  Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. E.H. 
Taylor, of Winchester, Ky. and Mrs. A. Lankford, of Baltimore.  Funeral 
services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the 
Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church 
officiating.  Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
