Virginian Pilot February 21, 1899

Mrs. Florence S. Hosier, wife of Mr. W.J. Hosier, died at the home of her 
husband, No. 20 Avenue C, Huntersville, at 8:45 o'clock last night, after a 
brief illness, in the 31st year of her age.  The funeral will be held from 
the residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

The obsequies of Mrs. Florence S. Hosier, wife of Mr. W.J. Hosier, who 
departed this life at her home, No. 20 Avenue C, Huntersville, were held 
from the residence at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The services were 
conducted by Rev. W.H. Edwards, of Centenary M.E. Church, assisted by Rev. 
Daniel T. Merritt, of the Huntersville Church. The remains were laid to rest 
in Elmwood Cemetery.  Following were the pallbearers:  J.R. Hopkins, W.E. 
Heath, G.M. Vail, John T. Hayes, J.A. Bullock, W.B. Wold, J.A. Babcock, 
Harry Luther.
