Norfolk Virginian Pilot May 4, 1954

Mrs. Alice M. Hosier, 73, widow of Charles Samuel Hosier, a native of 
Shepardstown, W. Va., and a resident of Norfolk for many years, died Sunday at 
8:45 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.  She is survived by a number of nieces and 
nephews.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. James E. Bevin, pastor of the Fairmount Community Baptist 
Church and the Rev. W.W. Williford, secretary of the Virginia Transit Company 
YMCA.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
