Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 6, 1913

Miss Emaline Hosier died at the home of her nephew, W.T. Woodhouse, 2023 East 
Brambleton avenue, yesterday morning, after an illness of two weeks, in the 
eighty-sixth year of her age.  Miss Hosier was a native of Virginia, but had 
resided in Norfolk a half century.  The funeral will be held at the residence 
at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. Reuben Meredith of 
St. Peter's Episcopal Church.  Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
