Virginian-Pilot July 30, 1956
Archie Lee House, 70, died at a local hospital yesterday at 4 p.m., after a long 
illness. He is survived by a son, Joseph A. House, of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. A. 
C. Boze, of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. 
House was a life-long resident of Norfolk and resided at 3411 Verdun Avenue.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 
12 o'clock, noon. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
