Mr. Howard was a native of Suffolk and a lifelong resident of this section, residing at 1509 Versailles Avenue at the time of his death. He was an employee of the United States Lines, steamship agents. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, E.P. Howard, Jr., and a grandson, John Richard Howard, of Norfolk. Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. James R. Kennedy, associate pastor. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
