The Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 26, 1949
Edgar Pace Howard, 58, husband of Mrs. Alice Kuhlis Howard and son of the late 
William A. and Mrs. Lulu Jakeman Howard, died yesterday at 7:30 a.m. at a 
Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Howard was a native of Suffolk and a lifelong resident of this section, 
residing at 1509 Versailles Avenue at the time of his death.  He was an 
employee of the United States Lines, steamship agents.  He was a member of the 
First Presbyterian Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, E.P. Howard, Jr., and a grandson, 
John Richard Howard, of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 2 
p.m. by the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian 
Church, and the Rev. James R. Kennedy, associate pastor.  Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
