Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 4, 1992

Johnnie Martin Howard, 51, of the 5800 block of Frament Ave., a retired 
truck driver, died Oct. 29, 1992, in his home.
Mr. Howard was born in Norfolk and had retired from Gibson Transfer Co. He 
was a member of Elks Lodge.
Survivors include four daughters, Blanch B. Yeater and Jameka Howard, both 
of Norfolk, and Pamela Howard and Karen Howard, both of Lynn, Mass.; two 
sons, Darrel Howard and Johnnie M. Howard Jr., both of Lynn; his mother, 
Etta W. Howard of Norfolk; three sisters, Ruth N. Howard and Mamie H. 
Howard, both of Boston, and R. Patrice Howard of Virginia Beach; two 
brothers, James D. Howard of Norfolk and Richard C. Howard of Boston; and 
four grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Family and friends will assemble at 
10:45 a.m. in the cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
