Selma Hewitt Howard departed this life on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Selma is 
survived by one daughter, Carla M. Perkins (Hamilton); one grandson, Hamilton 
Perkins II; two sisters, Cynthia Crawley (George - deceased), Edith Lee (Morris).

Her life will be celebrated at noon on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Freemason 
Street Baptist Church, Norfolk, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family request that a 
contribution be made in Selma's honor to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. 
Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
