Virginian-Pilot January 16, 1962
NORFOLK - George Earl Howard, 63, husband of Mrs. Laura Jones Howard and son of 
William P. and Mrs. Emma Hightower Howard, died in his home at 1641 W. 48th St. 
Monday at 11:15 a.m.
Besides his widow, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was a native of Augusta, Ga., and lived in Norfolk 58 years. He was a member of 
Christ and St Luke's Episcopal Church and Painters Local 474.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday at 1 p.m. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
