Virginian-Pilot October 29, 1992
Laura Jones Howard, 91, of the 200 block of Colonial Ave., died Oct. 27, 1992, 
in a hospital.
Mrs. Howard was born in Lee Hall, and was a graduate of the College of William 
and Mary. She was a founding member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church 
and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the 
Confederacy. She was a past senior regent of the Moose Club. She was the widow 
of George E. Howard.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth J. Goodwin of Norfolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. James W.H. Sell. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements. There will 
be no viewing.
