Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan. 21, 1950
Alvin Howard, 1610 Church street,  was funeralized from the Queen Street Baptist
Church,  Dr. J. Jasper Freeman officiating.  He died in a local hospital on Jan.
15.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Howard;  a daughter, and a father. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Riddick’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
