Mr. Howard, associated with his brothers, had been engaged in the fish business in this city for many years. He was a man of many excellent qualities, generous, kind and generally liked. ***************************************************************************** The funeral of Mr. John H. Howard, who died at St. Vincent's Hospital Saturday morning, took place Sunday from his late residence, No. 130 Bank Street and was conducted by Rev. A.S. Lloyd, of St. Luke's P.E. Church. The remains were placed in the family vault in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. W.J. Newton, Joseph Pugh, Thomas Drummond, Frank H. Campe, E.T. Rogers, Lloyd Gardner, W.J. Lynn and James M. Jordan.
