Howe, 138 Windsor avenue, Wednesday, August 2, 1911, at 4:15 o'clock a.m., JOSEPHINE F., widow of Josiah W. Howe, in the 42nd year of her age. Funeral services at the above residence FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. ************************************************** Mrs. Josephine F. Howe, widow of Josiah W. Howe, died at the residence of her brother-in-law, R.P. Howe, 138 Windsor avenue, at 4:15 yesterday morning. She was a resident of Portsmouth and had been in declining health since the death of her husband last June. Mrs. Howe was a woman of many beautiful traits of character and her death will bring sorrow to many. She leaves no children, but is survived by a brother, Julius L. Bunting, of Norfolk. The funeral will be held from teh residence of her brother-in-law at 4 o'clock p.m. Friday. The interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
