Norfolk-William Thomas Howell, 61, of 1771 Vine Street died Thursday in a 
hospital. He was a native of Robersonville, N.C. and was a member of First 
Chapel Baptist Church.


Survivors include his wife, Lucille Howell; four sons, William Thomas Jr. of 
Williamston N.C., Tyrone Howell and Kelvin Howell both of Robersonville and 
Andra Taylor of Norfolk; four sisters Elizabeth Whitehurst of Brooklyn, N.Y., 
Mildred Adams of West Virginia, Sarah Andrews of Robersonville and Estella 
Howell of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.


The funeral will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in St. Mark Congregation Christian 
Church by the Rev. David P. Butts. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, with 
Moseley Funeral Home in charge.
