The deceased was well known and highly esteemed in Norfolk, where she had resided for many years. She is survived by three children, two sons, W.T. Hoy and John Hoy of Norfolk and a daughter who resides in Texas. The funeral will be solemnized from the Queen Street Methodist Church at 10:30 o'clock this morning, of which Mrs. Hoy was a member, and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. T.J. Taylor. ************************************************************************* The funeral of Mrs. Melissa Hoy was held from the Queen Street Methodist Church at 10:30 o'clock a.m. yesterday. The service was conducted by Rev. R.N. Hartness of Trinity M.E. Church and the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: John Hill, F.L. Curdts, W.J. Casey, F.B. Taylor, J.F. Corbett and F. Dalton. The floral tributes were very handsome.
