HOY - At the residence, No. 539 Granby Street, on Sunday, July 12, 1908, at 7:30 
o'clock a.m., EDWARD M. HOY, in the 34th year of his age.
Funeral services from the above residence THIS (Tuesday) MORNING at 10 o'clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Edward M. Hoy was held from his late residence, 569 Granby 
street, at 10 o’clock a.m. yesterday and was numerously attended. The service 
was conducted by Rev. Father Edward J. Walsh, associate pastor of St. Mary’s 
Catholic church. A delegation from the order of Elks, of which the deceased was 
a member, attended the obsequies. There was a profusion of lovely floral 
tributes. Interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
The pallbearers were as follows: 
Elks - J. F. O’Connell and W. E. James. 
Citizens – T. S. Garnett, Jr., E C. Cheshire, Boush Creekmore, John Elburg, John 
Butt and N. S. Sands.
