White and Brothers Inc. as a heating engineer. He had served in the Navy during World War I. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Advent. He was a founder and secretary-treasurer of Allied Distributors and a founder of the 21st Street Business Association. He was secretary-treasurer of Air Temp Inc. Survivors include his wife, Ann Hoyer; three daughters, Bonney B. Lebling of Honolulu, Loraine B. Baskette of Norfolk and Patricia Willis of Bryn Mawr, Pa., a son, George J. Hoyer Jr. of Arlington; a stepdaughter, JoAnn M. Satterthwaite of Cataula, Ga.; a stepson, James J. Marasco of Jacksonville, Fla., a sister, Loretta Ternus of Schaumburg, Ill., six grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Episcopal Church of the Advent by the Rev. Herbert Smith. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be sent to the memorial fund at Episcopal Church of the Advent, the 21st Street Senior Citizens Club or to the American Cancer Society.
