NORFOLK — Mrs. Miriam Bonney Hoyer, 71, formerly of 1250 Willoughby Bay Ave., 
wife of George J. Hoyer Sr., died Friday in a hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Episcopal Church of the Advent and a 
former employee of Compeco Cleaners.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bonney Jane LeWing of Chevy Chase, 
Md., Mrs. Lorraine Baskett of Norfolk and Mrs. Patricia Willis of Gladwyn, Pa., 
and a son, George J. Hoyer Jr. of Rockville, Md.
A funeral service will he held Monday at 10 a.m. in Episcopal Church of the 
Advent by the Rev. Herbert H. Smith Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The 
family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, 
they suggest expressions of sympathy be sent to Episcopal Church of the Advent.
