B. HOZIER, the only son of Mrs. M.A.E. and the late W.W. Hozier, in the 17th year of his age. The funeral will take place TOMORROW (Sunday) at 3 p.m. from the Christian Church. Friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend. **************************************************************************** SAD RITES - It was a touching scene Sunday afternoon at the Christian Church, where in presence of all our resident ministers and a dense audience the following youths, each of whom in years approximated to those of Willie Hozier, whose remains they tenderly bore to the chancel: Kenneth Woodhouse, Rufus Speight, Daniel Lindsey, George Tilley, Oscar Diggs and Willie Daugherty. None knew better than these youthful pallbearers that the deceased was justly entitled to this spontaneous tribute of respect. And all knew him in life as possessing the vivacity of youth, combined with the gravity of old age. Rev. John Newman, the pastor, preached the funeral sermon and was assisted in the services by the Revs. Geo J. Hobday and Herbert M. Hope. It was a noble tribute to the worthy dead.
