NORFOLK - Shelia Thorogood Hubbard, our beloved angel, 52, of the 2800 block of 
Woodland Ave., passed December 17, 2009. Shelia was formerly manager of 
Thorogood Fashions. She was a retired foreman from T. Company. 

Mrs. Hubbard was predeceased by her father, James Thorogood Sr. 

Survivors include her mother, Lois Thorogood; one son, Vincent Hubbard; five 
sisters, Vernet Vaughan, Alicia Thorogood, Chwanda Clark, Pamela Gilliam and 
Patrice Thorogood; four brothers, James Thorogood Jr., Michael Thorogood, Kelvin 
Thorogood, Gail Thorogood and Alan Seay; maternal grandmother, Alice P. Correy; 
a host of other relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held at noon, Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Mount Lebanon Baptist 
Church, with the Rev. Bobby Bowser officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary 
Cemetery. The body will rest at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of 
service. The family will receive friends at Graves Funeral Home Monday, Dec. 21, 
from 6 to 7 p.m.
