Mrs. Hubbard was born in Thomasville, Ga., and was the widow of William M. Hubbard. She was retired as a clerk/cashier from the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bute Street where she was church secretary for 37 years. She was also a former Sunday School teacher, Intermediate Class (NU)1; a charter member of the Dorcas S.S. Class; organizer of the Do All We Can Club; organizer and leader of the M.J. Brown Missionary Circle of the M.E. Gordon Missionary Society. Survivors include twin nephews, Milford R. Woodson of Rockville, Md., and Melrose R. Woodson of Seattle; and a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Bute Street by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will begin at noon Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 1 p.m. for the funeral.
