The Virginian Pilot Thursday, September 4, 1980
Mrs. Evie Gordon Hudgins, 70, of 1056 Coach Circle, the widow of Christopher 
C. (Lum) Hudgins and a native of Norfolk, died Wednesday in her home.
Mrs. Hudgins, a lifelong resident of the area, formerly was employed in the 
Berkley office of The Virginian-Pilot.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Mollie E. Gordon of Virginia Beach; and a 
brother, Samuel O. Gordon Jr. of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by 
the Rev. Donald L. Kirkbride.  H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, has 
charge.
