Hudgins, 68, of 10121 Kenlake Drive, who owned and operated a truck farm in Virginia Beach for years, died Sunday in Tampa. A native of Princess Anne County, he was the husband of Mrs. Sara Rawles Hudgins. Before retiring to Florida, Hudgins owned and operated one of the largest strawberry farms in Virginia Beach. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia H. Smith of Escondido, Calif., and Mrs. Sara Deleslie of Brandon; a son, Christopher Lothaire Hudgins of Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret H. Eady and Mrs. Mary H. Godfrey of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. J. A. Eady, 1348 Penguin Circle, Virginia Beach.
