Virginian-Pilot January 15, 1903
Mrs. Lucy Hudgins, wife of Mr. Westcomb Hudgins, departed this life at the 
residence of her husband, on Thirty-fifth street, at 11:33 o'clock yesterday 
morning, after an illness of twelve months, aged 56 years. She leaves, besides her 
husband, two sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral will be held 
from the Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member, at 3 o'clock this 
afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. C. H. McGhee.
