Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch March 27, 1946
Mrs. Rose Perry Hudgins, 80, widow of Howard S. Hudgins, a native of Easton, Md., 
and a resident of Norfolk for 64 years, died at Locust Hill, Va., after a long 
illness. The body was taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Elmwood 
Cemetery for services at the grave this afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. 
Edward J. Rees, D.D., pastor of Ghent Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Hudgins was 
a member, officiating.
