Norfolk Day Book May 14, 1866 - 2 notices
SUDDEN DEATH. - We were yesterday much shocked to learn of the very sudden and 
unexpected death of Mrs. Virginia C. Hudgins, wife of W. R. Hudgins, Esq., and 
youngest daughter of John Rodgers (sic), Esq., deceased. This most estimable lady 
was, it appears, up, in apparent good health on Friday last. She was taken 
suddenly ill Friday night and expired on Sunday morning. She leaves two little 
children, too young to know the extent of the loss they have sustained.
DIED
On yesterday, (Sabbath morning,) Mrs. VIRGINIA C. HUDGINS, aged 27 years, wife of 
W. R. Hudgins.
