Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch October 20, 1928
Mrs. Virginia G. Hudgins, 69 years old, died at 9:20 o'clock last night at the 
residence, 326 Mowbray Arch. Mrs. Hudgins was born in Norfolk county and had made 
her home in Norfolk for more than fifty years. She was a member of Epworth 
Methodist church. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Lula Hudgins; a son, Curtis 
R. Hudgins; a sister, Mrs. Sarah N. Fentress, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of her 
son, 923 Westover avenue. The services will be conducted by Rev. J. L. MacMillian, 
pastor of First Presbyterian church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
