Charles Hudgins departed this life November 26,1928. He was buried from the First 
Baptist Church, Bute street, Rev. R. H. Bowling officiating. He was a consistent 
member there,having connected himself with this church on leaving Mount Pleasant 
church of Titustown. He has been in God’s service for thirty-three years. He was a 
member of the Brotherhood Class of his church and always looked forward to 
attendance on Sunday morning. He was a devoted husband and father, always striving 
to bring sunshine and happiness to the home. We shall miss him until life’s sun 
goes down.
