Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 15, 1945
Mrs. Alethia Anne Hudgins, 73, of 2620 Bainbridge Boulevard, died Sunday 
morning at 11 o'clock in a local hospital after an illness of 10 months.
A native of Martin County, N.C., she had resided in this section for 45 
years.  She was the daughter of the late Jessie B. and Mary Anne Everett and 
the wife of Alonzo Lee Hudgins.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. C.T. Humphries, of 
South Norfolk and a grandchild, Marie Humphries.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral 
services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
