NORFOLK - Charles W. Hudgins Jr. died Jan. 25, 2003. He was born April 28, 1943
in Norfolk and attended Booker T. Washington High School and Norfolk State
University. He was a truck driver for A.W. Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Hudgins; mother, Mary Battle of New York;
children, Sheila R. Harris and husband Joseph A. Harris of Virginia Beach, Carla
D. Hudgins of Norfolk, Lisa Hudgins of Norfolk, Chris V. Hudgins and wife
Rosalie Hudgins and Lisa M. Winnagle of Richmond; 11 grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a
special friend, Arlene Munford and sons. He was predeceased by his father,
Charles W. Hudgins Sr.

Viewing will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Services, Norview
Avenue. The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. The family will meet for the
procession at 1033 Mapole Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
