Virginia Beach - Jean Goode Davis Hughes died on February 28, 2014, in Virginia 
Beach. She was born on June 14, 1929, and grew up in Hampton. She graduated from 
Madison College in 1950. She was married on June 16, 1951, to Robert Morton 
Hughes, III of Norfolk. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of 
Norfolk/Virginia Beach and King's Daughters and was a docent at Chrysler Museum. 
She was predeceased by a son, Robert Morton Hughes IV. She is survived by her 
husband, Bob, her daughter, PJ Forbes and PJ's husband, Bill. A memorial service 
will be conducted at All Saints Episcopal Church on Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church.
