Virginian-Pilot November 22, 1923
Sydney Smith Hughes - Funeral services for Mr. Hughes will be conducted this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Francis C. Steinmetz, S.T.D., rector of Christ 
Episcopal Church, and the Rev. J. Hubard Lloyd. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
