NORFOLK - Mrs. Sarah M. Hughes, 53, of 1039 W. Ocean View Ave., a daughter of 
Harry and Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Hughes, died in a hospital Sunday at 6 p.m.
A native of Baltimore, she had lived most of her life in Norfolk. She attended 
Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She had worked at the Norfolk Naval Supply Center 26 
years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Reed, and three grandchildren, all of 
Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 10 
a.m. by the Rev. Edmund Kollar of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family will be at the daughter’s home, 1063 Little Bay Ave.
