A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he established Hugo Transfer Co. in 1935 and operated it until it was sold in 1943. He was employed by Monsanto Chemical Co. until his retirement in 1957 and was a member of Norview Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Strawn and Mrs. Connie Casada; a son, Randolph B. Hugo Jr., all of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in Twiford Funeral Home, Norfolk, Sunday at 2 p. m. by the Rev. Wallace A. Rogers of Norview Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
