WASHINGTON — Andrew Wilmer Hull, 87, formerly of Newport News, died Monday in 
his home.
A native of Potter County, he was the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Cooke Hull and a 
son of Thomas and Mrs. Anna Hull of Potter County.
He was a department head at Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co. and retired 
in 1947. He was an Episcopalian.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a sister, Miss Anne Hull, of New York.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Washington.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, in charge.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Mountain Mission 
School at Grundy, Va.
