Virginian Pilot January 7th 1984

Norfolk-Larry Vann Humphrey, 14, a native of Norfolk died Wednesday in a fire 
at his home at 2417 Kimball Terrace. Humphrey was a student at Ruffner Junior 
High School, where he was a drummer in the band.


Survivors include his mother, Patricia Lee Humphrey; his father, Franklin Van 
Person; a sister Carolyn Hamilton of Norfolk; and a brother, Franklin Vann 
Person Jr. of Norfolk.


The funeral will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday in Metropolitan Funeral Chapel 
by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 


The family will be at the home of Mary Jones, 1218 Maltby Ave. A wake will be 
from 7 to 8 P.M. Monday in the funeral home.
