Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, July 30, 1992 
Edward Christopher Humphrey of the 1700 block of S. Lakeland Drive, a tank
cleaner, died July 25, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Humphrey was born in Patuxent River, Md. He was employed with MP Industries
for two years.

Survivors include a daughter, Sentara Porter of Hampton; his parents, Mamie W.
and George Humphrey of Norfolk; three sisters, Alice D. Humphrey, Celestine J.
Nichols and Luara D. Humphrey, all of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Marvin L.
Humphrey of Norfolk and David M. Humphrey of Germany; and maternal grandmother,
Alice W. Beal of Scotland, Md.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Bank Street Baptist Church by
the Rev. Anthony Ferebee. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at the residence. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in
Graves Funeral Home.
