Virginian Pilot Tuesday July 5, 1910
The funeral of the late Charles McHenry Humphries, son of T.C. Humphries, whose 
remains arrived here Sunday morning from Columbia, N.C., where he passed away 
suddenly on Saturday, was conducted from the residence of his father, 20 Walnut 
street, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, officiated and 
interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
The funeral service was very largely attended, including a delegation from 
Tidewater Council No 30 Jr. O.U.A.M., who attended the funeral service in a 
body, the deceased being a member of this organization.
The pallbearers follow: H.C Etheridge, Paul Curling, Joe Keeter, W.J. Lassiter, 
Ed Woodward, G.P. Hand, H.E Vincent, J.E. Taylor.
