IDA HUMPHRIES SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS Funeral Services Tomorrow for Wife of Thomas F. Humphries Mrs. Ida Morgan Humphries, wife of Thomas Frost Humphries, died at her residence, 611 New York Avenue, Colonial Place, yesterday morning at 6:15 o'clock after an illness of 10 months. She was a native of Chester, Pa. and had been a resident of this city for the past 40 years. Her husband has been a member of the proofreading staff of the Virginian Pilot for many years. She was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Mrs. Mary Taylor Morgan and in addition to her husband is survived by two brothers, Nathan S. Morgan, Detroit, Mich. and James W. Morgan, Ansonia, Conn. Funeral services for Mrs. Humphries will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
