Hampton - Mrs. Lois Selden Hunt, widely known and respected resident of 1442 
Pembroke avenue, Hampton, died Monday, Oct. 23, in the hospital after a short 
illness.  Funeral services were set for Thursday, Oct. 26, at First United 
Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, at 1 p.m.

She was the wife of Joel H. Hunt Sr., and the daughter of the late John and 
Sallie Selden, Norfolk.

Other survivors include: five sons, Joel H. Hunt Jr., Donald S. Hunt, Michael W. 
Hunt, Andre C. Hunt and Roderick C. Hunt of Hampton, VA;  four daughters, Lois 
M. Hunt, Washington, DC, Mrs. Joelynn Parham, Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Barbara John, 
Bridgeport, CT, and Marlou D. Hunt, Hampton, VA;  one brother, Dr. John S. 
Selden Jr., Norfolk;   two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Long, Ettrick, VA, and Mrs. 
Lillia M. Midgette, Washington, DC.

Other relatives are two grandchildren;  one aunt, Mrs. Agnes Jordan and several 
nieces;  nephews and cousins.

Riddick Funeral Home of Norfolk, VA., will be in charge.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, VA.
