Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 19, 1991 
Clifton M. ``Bro'' Hunter of the 2600 block of McKann Ave., a retired custodian,
died Sept. 17, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Hunter was born in Norfolk and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist
Church. He had retired from Christ The King Catholic Church after 25 years and
from First Lutheran Church after five years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Hunter; a daughter, Angelina H. Jones of
Norfolk; two sisters, Gracie Lee Wilson of Norfolk and Geraldine Hunter of
Richmond; a brother, Albert Hunter of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in Antioch Missionary
Baptist Church by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Family and friends
will assemble at 2648 McKann Ave., at 12:15 p.m. for the procession.
Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
