Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Hunter, 58, of 1017 Lancaster Street, who died 
December 19 in a local hospital, were held December 23 at the Chatman’s Funeral 
Chapel.  Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter officiated.

She is survived by five sons, Edward and Levi Hedgespeth, Wayman, Sherman and 
Isaac Hunter;  3 daughters, Mesdames Zelma Morris, Helen Walker and Miss Jean 
Hunter;  1 brother, Edward Whitehurst;  and 4 grandchildren.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman’s Funeral Home in charge.
