Norfolk Landmark February 8, 1903
(Part of an article in the Norfolk Landmark, published on February 8, 1903) -
"It will be remembered that on the night of January 10th, C. R. Hunter, a stranger 
in this city, was found in a boarding-house in Main street in a critical 
condition, he claiming to have been struck in Main street. The man was removed to 
St. Vincent's de Paul, where he never regained consciousness and died the next 
day."
