A native of Princess Anne County, Dr. Hunter had resided in Norfolk for 50 years. He was the son of the late Dr. Henry T. and F. Grizelle Dozier Hunter. Educated in Norfolk by Professors Webster and Galt, Dr. Hunter later graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, of Baltimore. He was a member of the Norfolk County Medical Society. Besides his wife, Mrs. Grace Bernard Hunter, he is survived by one sister, Miss Mary T. Hunter. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his sister Miss Mary T. Hunter, 920 Redgate avenue. The Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
