HENRY T. HUNTER Dr. Henry T. Hunter, a well-known retired physician of Norfolk and a most estimable citizen, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock at his home, No. 17 Grigsby Place, after an illness of several years, in the 69th year of his age. Dr. Hunter was a native of Princess Anne county, Va., where he resided and practiced his profession for a long period of years. He moved to Norfolk twenty-seven years ago and, for a long time, had one of the largest practices in the city, retiring five years ago. When in Princess Anne, his practice covered that county and a portion of Norfolk county. He is survived by two children - Dr. E. D. Hunter and Miss Mary T. Hunter, both of Norfolk. He was a man of splendid qualities, both of head and heart, stood high in his profession, and had a wide circle of friends. He was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church and of the Masonic and Pythian fraternities. The funeral will take place privately tomorrow at 5 p.m. from his late residence.
