Virginian-Pilot October 12, 1961
NORFOLK — Robert Williamson Hunter, 79, husband of Mrs. Emily Bowie Hunter and 
son of James Francis and Mrs. Anne McC. Tunstall Hunter, died Wednesday in 
Washington.
Mr. Hunter, income tax specialist, was a native and former resident of Norfolk. 
He lived in Washington a number of years.
Besides his widow, he is survived by cousins, Mrs. Junius R. Willcox, Richard 
Tunstall, Mrs. Eliza Bell, Mrs. T. Ralph Jones, and Mrs. William S. Graham of 
Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in Gawler Funeral Home, Washington, Friday at 3 
p.m.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service at the grave Saturday at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. Walton Davis, rector of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
