Norfolk Virginian July 6, 1882

HUNTER - Very suddenly, at his residence in Berkley, on Wednesday evening, July 
5th, 1882, at 11 o'clock, EBEN H. HUNTER, of the firm of Hunter & Tilley

The Late E.H. Hunter - We regret to publish the death of this estimable 
gentleman, which occurred at his residence on the corner of Pine and Lee 
Streets, at 11 o'clock on Wednesday last.  The deceased removed to this section 
just after the late unpleasantness from Alabama, and engaged in the milling and 
lumber business with E.M. Tilley, which he successfully followed up to the hour 
of his death.  He was a good citizen and live business man.  Berkley needs more 
of the same stamp.  Peace to his ashes.
